The fundamentals: making customers welcome

As continental Europe's largest manager of shopping centres, with interests in 9 countries through a network of subsidiaries or joint ventures, the group Ségécé manages 320 shopping centres and shopping mails.

To secure the loyalty of the 1 billion visitors a year coming to centres managed by Ségécé, we have to keep in touch with consumers and meet their aspirations. The public’s needs grow and change constantly over the years. Shopping centres are now leisure destinations designed as places to be and live. At Ségécé we aim to make each shopping experience a new one.

This dedication is part of a wider vision encompassing the centre’s initial design to everyday management. Ségécé’s centres are unique places, designed and managed to the most stringent levels, where customers’ enjoyment of their visit is the priority.

A combination of features play a role in making customers’ welcome: architecture, signage, interior design, maintenance, cleanliness, staff professionalism, communication and special events. Our centres are regularly audited by anonymous inspectors acting as customers, who then produce reports based on qualitative and quantitative criteria. The conclusions are used to improve our facilities.
